Layout Issues
Display Color and Resolution
All movies were recorded on a monitor with a resolution of 640X480
in 256 colors. A resolution of 640X480 was selected for two reasons: the movies
would fit on-screen at the lowest supported resolution, and at higher
resolutions the movies would not fill the entire screen. The color set-up of
256 colors was selected because it was the minimum requirement for running
Surveys With Confidence (SWC).
This was 1998 and most applications at that time still would run on a low
color, low resolution monitor.
