The prime responsibility for creating a unique Christian climate in a Catholic school rests with the teachers. Teaching has extraordinary moral depth. It is a persons highest creative activity.  A teacher does not write on stone or concrete  but on the very spirit of a human being.  The personal relationship between a teacher and a student, therefore, assumes an enormous importance. It is not limited simply to give and take. Teachers and educators fulfill a specific Christian vocation and share in the mission of the Church. It depends on them whether the Catholic school achieves its purpose.  (Pope John Paul II)
