A couple of good sources of information of Henri IV are
Heinrich Mann's Henry, King of France [Mann] and the
Larousse Histoire de France en bandes dessinées, no. 12,
sept. 1977 [Lécureux&Forton]. In fact, I used Gérald Forton's very fine
artwork as a guide when drawing Maria de' Medici and Henri IV -- at least to get
started.
