In June of 2001, I embarked on a journey that would change my life. I hadn't won the superbowl, I hadn't just received a gold medal, but I was going to Disney World! It may seem ridiculous to say that an internship that was not even close to being directly related to my field changed my life for the better, but it did. For 7 months, I worked and lived in Orlando Florida while working at Epcot as a Rescue Ranger. My fellow Rescue Rangers and I will remember each other forever as being the greatest disfunctional family we've ever had the privelege to be a part of. We were coworkers, tour guides to one another's "real" families, partners in crime and mischief, ride buddies on those days off that we spent in the parks, and most importantly friends and family to one another. The memories we have will spark stories and laughter forever in our hearts and especially when we congregate into a group once a year for our annual reunion around the country.
